A History of Sexuality in Western Art

This is based on the Annunciation by Botticelli. The concept of the ambivalent attitude toward sexuality in western art is taken from a book with a similar name. The painting is in two layers. The main acrylic painting is the pair of nudes. Hung in front of that later is a sheet of transparent plastic. The bathing suits are attached as "clings" to the plastic. This gives a "peek-a-boo" effect in person.
